The 2025 Makah Fisheries Management Summer Internship concluded with final research presentations given by each one of the interns. Each of them worked diligently to apply the scientific method towards learning relevant background information on their research topic, developing methods and collecting sound data, analyzing the results of their studies, and understanding the significance of their research findings. These are skills that great scientists have and make for critical thinkers in the world. The interns should feel proud of all they accomplished to successfully conduct a scientific experiment and share that work with others through the deliverables of a final presentation and a research poster. There was a great show of support from family and friends of the interns, the community, MFM staff, and out intern colleagues. Kudos to the 2025 interns on a job well done!
